The design employs a minimalist approach, using line illustrations of fresh produce and a sharp typographic hierarchy to reflect the brand's focus on healthy, vegan offerings. To create a visually appealing and easy-to-read menu design that reinforces the brand’s identity as a modern, health-conscious café. The design aims to capture the essence of fresh, organic ingredients while maintaining a clean and professional aesthetic.
During this process, I explored design trends in organic and health-focused restaurants while identifying the need for a clean layout. The illustrations were hand-drawn, and the vector-based line illustrations were created to depict ingredients such as tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, and almonds. I used green outlines to symbolize freshness and health. The logo and café name were placed prominently for brand recognition. A mix of bold and regular fonts in green and black was used to create a clear typographic hierarchy. It was crucial to ensure consistent spacing and alignment for a polished look.
The final menu design is both functional and visually striking, appealing to customers who value health, sustainability, and modern design. The minimalist approach ensures a pleasant user experience while reflecting the café’s commitment to quality and freshness. This project showcases how thoughtful design can elevate a simple menu. The combination of custom illustrations, clean typography, and strategic layout reflects the café’s unique identity and values.
