Goal & Purpose

This illustration is a digital representation of a modern architectural structure combined with a monumental statue. The Corpus Museum highlights clean geometric lines, balanced composition, and effective use of colour to create a cohesive and striking visual. The goal is to create a perspective-based digital illustration that accurately depicts a building and integrates a stylized statue, showcasing attention to architectural detail, proportions, and spatial depth.

Process

I chose the Corpus Museum because of the mix of modern and industrial elements that incorporate a large, simplified human statue to contrast with the rigid geometric architecture, adding artistic interest. I built the structure focusing on precise alignment and symmetry. It was important to achieve a sense of depth without overcrowding the composition with excessive detail.

Summary

The final illustration effectively combines architectural and artistic elements in a harmonious composition. It demonstrates technical skill in perspective drawing and digital vector illustration while allowing for artistic expression. It highlights the importance of perspective and demonstrates how contrasting forms can create visual interest. To improve this project further I plan on adding environmental elements like sky, greenery, or surrounding buildings for context.
